Welcome to Kellogg Middle School! 

My name is Isaac Matzek, and I am the Principal here at Kellogg Middle School. I am honored and excited to serve Kellogg Middle School and all stakeholders who call Kellogg their school. 

This is my 18th year in education and 11th year in administration.  I have previously served as Assistant Principal at John Adams Middle School, Red Wing High School, Winona High School, and Ben Franklin / Montessori at Franklin Elementary School. I received my Principal license from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. I love Minnesota sports teams, and I especially love coaching and watching my children in their sports and extracurricular activities. Being a part of school communities during and after the school day is very important in our students' lives, and I practice what I want to see in our students and families. 

Our goal at Kellogg Middle School is to deliver a world-class education where students and families are proud to come to school. We will deliver a safe, welcoming, and caring school environment. We are committed to all our families, and we want to grow well-rounded students who are prepared for high school and beyond.
