Is your 16+ year old interested in making $15/hour and getting elective credit toward graduation? They can sign up to work at School Aged Child Care (SACC) with our elementary schools! A few things to note: Work hours are from 8th hour to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. They can work at an elementary school close to their high school. Applicants must be 16+ and provide their own transportation. Scheduling will depend on their required classes and high school schedule. If their schedule is already full and they still want to work part-time at SACC, have them contact Nate at naschriever@rochesterschools.org. Summer hours are also available! Summer hiring starts in March/April. Students hired must maintain good work habits to remain in the course.  If this interests your student, ask them to see their counselor for details on credits and to explore theirr options. Have any questions about the SACC program? Contact Nate at naschriever@rochesterschools.org.
Welcome back, everyone! We hope you had a wonderful winter break and have a fantastic start to the year!

Mrs Vasquez sports her dad’s actual JM letter sweater. He graduated in ‘67 from JM and played football and captained basketball. Mrs V was just happy to survive the staff v student basketball game with only a bruised nose!! 🤩

Fun was had by all at the staff v student basketball game at the JM Gives Pepfest. There were only minor injuries reported by our staff…one staff was seen rubbing a bruised nose and another icing a finger. Maybe the most serious injury were bruised egos after losing by one point. 😁

Jasciya made this beautiful charcuterie board in Woods Class. She is so excited to gift it to her mom because her mom loves to cook, and it is the first gift Jasciya has made for her by herself. We know she'll LOVE it!
