
The Century Varsity Chess Team defeated Homeschool 5 - 0 and Mayo HS 4 1/2 to 1/2 to defend and keep the RASCL City Cup. Caulder Nguyen placed second in the varsity top five, Johan Mayburgh was third and Cole Lappi fourth. Cole was also named to the All League team

Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) is a program that allows 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade students to earn both high school and college credit while still in high school through enrollment in and successful completion of college courses. PSEO students are not charged tuition, books, or fees for items required to participate in a course.
If you are interested in learning more about PSEO at RPS, join us for an information night on February 20 at 6:30 p.m. at RCTC, or scan the QR code to join virtually. If you have questions, contact your building's counseling office.


Students will not report to school on Monday, February 17, in observance of Presidents Day. Staff will participate in a districtwide professional development day. Students will return to school on Tuesday, February 18.

Earn your Bilingual Seal! 10th - 12th grade students can sign up to take the Biliteracy Seal assessment this April. Graduating high school students in Minnesota who have a multilingual background and/or are studying a language other than English, are eligible to earn a bilingual seal after their graduation. January 15th is LIVE UNIFIED DAY. This is a day to rally around inclusion, kindness and the Unified movement. The Unified movement is all about making the world more inclusive for people with and without intellectual disabilities. If you "Live Unified" it means you help ensure that everyone has the right to play, learn and thrive in your school and community. Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools is a strategy for schools that intentionally promotes meaningful social inclusion by bringing together young people with and without intellectual disabilities to lead in the creation of accepting school environments. There are more than 300 Unified Champion Schools leading the Unified Movement in Minnesota and as of this year Century High School is a Unified School!



We are thrilled to share the incredible success of the Century High School Business Professionals of America (BPA) team at the Regional Competition held on Wednesday, January 8th. Our students represented Century with excellence, dedication, and professionalism, making us all incredibly proud. Out of our team of 35 students, an outstanding 32 have qualified to advance to the BPA State Competition in March! This is a testament to their hard work, preparation, and passion for their events. Please join us in congratulating these talented students for their achievements and wishing them the best as they prepare for the next stage of the competition.
